Please be advised that Millersville Borough has contracted with Andy Lacock Paving and Excavating to mill and pave Bender Ave. on April 16^th and 17^th, WEATHER PERMITTING.

Please note that residents will not have access to their driveways during the hours of 6AM – 7PM on these days.

Large Appliance and Tire Collection Reminder – Monday, April 13, 2026

Millersville Borough will hold the Large Appliance and Tire Collection for residential properties who are part of our trash program on MONDAY, APRIL 13, 2026. A Blue ($15.00) Tag for each appliance and a Red ($6.00) Tag for each tire and/or rim is required.

If you have an item to be collected, a tag must be purchased and your name added to our collection list BEFORE NOON ON FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 2026. If you purchased a Blue Appliance Tag or a Red Tag for tire/rim, and did not use it for a previous collection, please notify the Borough Office before noon on Friday, APRIL 10, 2026, so your item and address can be added to the collection list. These items should be placed curbside Sunday evening, April 12th. Refrigerators and freezers must have the doors removed when put out for collection.

The Borough is currently accepting applications for vacancies on Borough Boards and Commissions. If you would like to support your community by volunteering for any posted Boards and Commissions vacancies, please send a letter of interest and a resume to manager@millersvilleborough.org or they may be dropped off or mailed to the Borough Office located at 100 Municipal Drive. To be eligible to apply for a vacancy on any Board or Commission, you must be a resident of the Borough and at least 18 years of age or older.

Current vacancies to be filled are:

Member of the Zoning Hearing Board – Term ending 3/26/29
Alternate Member of the Civil Service Commission – Term ending 12/31/29

Rock Blasting – Village at Funks Farm

Between March 20th and the end of May, 2026, DH Funk and Sons LLC will be performing rock blasting at the Village at Funk’s Farm project in Manor Township, bordering Millersville Borough. Residents near the project site may hear 2-3 shots per week until the work is completed. All rock blasting will occur between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday. Immediately before and during the blast (approximately 2-3 minutes), traffic on South Duke Street and/or Walnut Hill Road will be stopped, and then immediately reopened. Blasts will be controlled with blasting mats or sufficient nature earth overburden.

County Parks and Trails Master Plan – Comment Period Open

The Lancaster County Planning Department invites all County residents and stakeholders to review and comment on the County-wide Parks and Trails Master Plan draft, which is designed to replace the county’s existing regional parks plan from 1992. The plan focuses on enhancing the county-owned park system as well as the countywide regional trail network. Public comments will help guide future investments and partnerships that make Lancaster County a leader in providing diverse outdoor recreation experiences for residents and visitors.

There are two opportunities to provide comments:

Open House – Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center, 101 Champ Boulevard, Manheim, PA 17545 to view maps from the plan and speak with LCPD staff and the consulting team.
