Trash and Recycling Update
MILLERSVILLE BOROUGH TRASH/RECYCLING COLLECTION UPDATE
April 28, 2020
Eagle Disposal will be enforcing the following collection mandates, in an effort to protect their frontline team members, and as a result of having a limited workforce during this COVID‐19 pandemic:
‐ All trash must be bagged and tied. If you wish, you can then put the bag(s) in your trash can. Loose items will be not be collected.
‐ All recyclable materials must be placed inside your recycling container, including your flattened and bundled corrugated cardboard. Recyclable items left outside of your recycling container will not be collected.
‐ The bag/can limit will be enforced. If you are over your limit, your trash will not be collected.
‐ Limited collection of yard waste and over‐sized items will begin on Monday, May 4, 2020. During the month of May, you can put up to ten bags of yard waste out for collection each week. Yard waste must be in the brown bio‐degradable bags with a green extra service tag attached to each bag.
During the month of May, you may put ONE oversized item out each week, for collection. The item must have a red extra service tag attached.
If you need to purchase tags, you can send a check to Millersville Borough or put the money in the overnight drop box (to the left of the front doors) and we will mail the tags to you.
Please continue to check the Borough’s website for updates.
Eagle Disposal takes great pride in being a trusted partner in the south central Pennsylvania community for the last 20 years. Your understanding and patience is appreciated as we all navigate these unprecedented times together.
