Dates: The collection period for 2025 is April 7th through October 27th.
Woody Yard Waste (WYW): Branches and prunings from trees and shrubbery, acorns, pinecones and nut burrs. Branches, limbs and other prunings less than 6 inches in diameter and no more than 4 feet in length can be bundled with biodegradable string and placed curbside for collection with a GREEN TAG affixed (sold in a sheet of 4 for $5.00). Put the green tag on the front of each brown bio-degradable bag, so it can be seen from the street.
Bag Pick Up: The biodegradable brown bags are available to Borough trash & recycling residents and are located in the Police Carport at the rear of the Borough Office. Please limit the number of bags you pick up to 20 bags per visit. WYW biodegradable bags and bundles should not exceed 30 lbs. in weight.
Notes: Do not staple or tape bags. If WYW bags are found untagged, they will not be collected by the hauler. WYW is prohibited in regular trash during the WYW Collection period.
