The Lancaster County Planning Department invites all County residents and stakeholders to review and comment on the County-wide Parks and Trails Master Plan draft, which is designed to replace the county’s existing regional parks plan from 1992. The plan focuses on enhancing the county-owned park system as well as the countywide regional trail network. Public comments will help guide future investments and partnerships that make Lancaster County a leader in providing diverse outdoor recreation experiences for residents and visitors.
There are two opportunities to provide comments:
Open House – Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center, 101 Champ Boulevard, Manheim, PA 17545 to view maps from the plan and speak with LCPD staff and the consulting team.
